Afternoon Tea thoughts : girly, delicate, sweet….and for me, PINK.

Sketch is the Afternoon Tea of my dreams, all set in the room of my dreams! I’m thinking I need to dedicate a room in my flat for a pink tea room…

Sketch is whimsical, imaginative, and basically an Instagram sensation.  It is the perfect little spot to really indulge and experience a gorgeous Afternoon Tea.

First, you need to pick your tea…my vote is for chai, vanilla tea, or whole rose buds..and yes, there are actually whole rose buds in there!

The menu includes some delicious finger sandwiches : coronation chicken, smoked salmon, cucumber & ricotta, Comté cheese, and of course, egg mayo. Ask for more if you really loved them, you can have extras of any!

An amazing array of decadent desserts: passion fruit tartlet, citrus and raspberry cake, pistachio choux, cassis cheesecake, chocolate and mint gâteau, tangy citrus meringue, and malabar marshmallow.

And then fresh, hot scones. My favorite part of tea time!

Bottom line: come hungry.

Everything is served on these classic black and white china dishes with eccentric little quips on them–forget about it, food, dreams, ghosts…find one you love and you can purchase it for home!

Sketch is also pretty famous for their quirky, super photogenic bathrooms! It’s an assortment of individual potty pods… be warned, there’s not just the regular activities going on in there… lots of photo snapping 😉
