A few weeks back, we ventured south to Balham (a lovely walk from Clapham Common!) for some of the tastiest pizza I’ve had in London. And you’re in luck, cause the boys at Brother Marcus are bringing it back for the bank holiday weekend!
But first, can we talk about how cool the name Brother Marcus is?! And the three guys that run this place live up to it. With their combined experience in different food and hospitality venues, they bring a lot to the table…and not just delicious food. The garden cafe feels like an ultra cool hang out spot and you’re just one of the gang. I love how welcoming they are and that they focus so much attention on excellent service.

Now back to the foodie stuff…Brother Marcus specializes in brunch and coffee but with their history in the food industry it wouldn’t be right to not dabble a little in other specialities. They’ve held special events like the upcoming pizza weekend, as well as steak frites (so bummed I missed this!), and even hosted MasterChef Tony Rodd for a set menu dinner! They’re keeping this spot fresh and exciting with fun events and a cool atmosphere. I am loving all the repurposed/industrial vibes of the cafe but the outdoor terrace, complete with the wood fired pizza oven, london is the perfect summer evening spot.
These pizza pics are making me hungry! Add this tasty cafe into your London bank holiday weekend plans stat!
