CAFE PACIFICO : LONDON’S GO TO FOR AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD

I am such a sucker for good Mexican food…and coming from southern America where tasty and authentic spots are easy to come by, I have been struggling to feed my addiction here in the U.K. There are loads of restaurants claiming to be Mexican but end up being Spanish — delicious still but not the guac and margs I was after. Cafe Pacifico has both — and the margaritas, the margs, are where its at. I opted for mango and Ryan went with a coconut tequila! The perfect way to start a mexi-feast.

Cafe Pacifico has been serving it up in Covent Garden since the 80’s but despite the long history and bustling neighborhood, it maintains an off-the-beaten path kind of feel. On a warm day, try to snag a table by the open window!

While you’re sipping on the tasty margs, have a few jalapeño poppers and of course, the guac to start! We also are big fans of the nachos. And come with an appetite, because the mains are just as delicious. As soon as the scent of fajitas smoked past me, I knew what I was ordering. Highly recommended. Ryan went for the enchiladas with a tomatillo salsa….yummm!
