Our Australian road trip started in Cairns and consisted mostly of sunshine + sand. While the season was changing to crisp autumn in the rest of the world, we were very much in the early stages of summer here. To get our taste of fall + cooler temps, we added a stop to the Blue Mountains into our itinerary. Just about an hour outside of Sydney, we headed to a cozy little cabin in the mountains.
our cozy cabin
We stayed in a perfect little Airbnb complete with a fireplace + two outdoor bathtubs overlooking the valley. The fireplace was our spot — we sat around eating grilled cheese + soup and playing cards listening to the wind howl outside! The bathtubs { although freezing to get in + out of! } were such an amazing sunset spot!

why use airbnb
I am such a big fan of using Airbnb for group travel. It is such an affordable way to travel as a group plus it usually gives you a great communal space to enjoy each other’s company.
