Cinque Terre is becoming more and more well known in traveler talk and although the hike among the 5 villages seems to be a tourist hub lately, it still feels untouched. Especially in late October, the crowds have died down and the days are warm enough with the crisp autumn breeze.

We found this amazing little bed and breakfst in the hills above Monterosso, which by the way is the perfect starting spot for the 5terre hike! Villa Pietrafiore offers simple, classic cabins in the midst of an olive and lemon farm in the hills of Cinque Terre. It is the perfect sunset viewing spot with a scenic overlook of the sea and the surrounding hills. Breakfast can also be served in this scenic spot or  in your cabins–think homemade croissants and strong Italian coffee with breathtaking views!

Parking is available and they offer a shuttle into the town of Monterosso for a small fee.
