Our first day in the Whitsundays, we set out on a day exploring the infamous Whitehaven beach with Cruise Whitsundays.
Our Day
From the main harbor on Hamilton Island, we set out on the double decker cruise vessel. After a quick coffee, we arrive! Hopping on a small boat, we cruise over to the breathtaking northern end of the island…this is a picture perfect spot! And a quick hike up to the Hill Inlet Lookout offers a stunning panoramic view of the beach. Back down on the powdery beach, we seek a little shade to enjoy our pack lunches!
After about a million photos, we set out on the small boat over to the southern part of the island. The long beach is perfect for a variety of games, beach walks, and of course, swimming in the blue water! We loved the afternoon here. There’s also options for a few hikes — we opted for the quick one up to Solway Circuit Lookout. Spotting some wildlife along the way, we reach the lookout and soak up the views! Back on the beach, we enjoy the last few hours sunbathing and learning to play cricket.
Overall, the tour was so fab and we had the best day exploring Whitehaven with Cruise Whitsundays!
