Sometimes I just need a full on girls’ day out — complete with shopping, pampering, and definitely some bubbly!

Last week, my gal pal Andreea, of Launeden, and I headed to experience all things girly at St Martin’s Courtyard. It’s the perfect little escape, while still in central London. It’s actually hard to believe this quiet little corner is only steps away from the overly busy Covent Garden and a quick walk from the madness of Oxford Street. I love that it’s a charming courtyard but has all the appeal of a larger venue.We started our GDO (girls day out, obv!) with some shopping and window browsing. My favorites of the area are Pretty Ballerinas, Eileen Fisher, and COS. With Valentine’s right around the corner, we had to slip into all the festive and fun flats at Pretty Ballerinas.

Next, we popped into BLOW for a mid-day spruce on our do’s! I opted for a Luxe Blowout while Andreea did a chic and trendy braid. I love BLOW because they offer all the best beauty treatments in store but also mobile as well (see about their visit to my flat here!). I think a little pampering is the perfect part of a GDO–sipping lattes and having someone else worry with your hair! 😉 The most essential part of any girls day out is most definitely, bubbly. We headed over to Dalla Terra, to see the Italians of St Martin’s Courtyard. Starting with a wine tasting and a delicious tray of antipasto, we soaked up the gorgeous decor of Dalla Terra…The food is authentic and truly delicious…not to mention the perfect pairings of vino. I had the incredibly flavorful mushroom risotto with truffle oil and a caprese salad. Looking equally as tasty and coming highly recommended from Andreea is the tagliata. Add this meal to your next shopping stop in St Martin’s! With full bellies, we headed nearby to Relax for an afternoon massage to finish our GDO! It was the perfect end to a fun day out with my gal pal!
