hazy on the heath

If it’s a weekend and we aren’t jet setting around Europe, you can bet we’re out exploring the streets of London.

On this adventure we headed north to Hampstead for some tasty food and green walks in the Heath.

Perrin’s Court is a charming little walking street in Hampstead with loads of character…

And several tasty restaurants… we were aiming for Ginger & White, a delicious London café, but with two couples queuing ahead of us and me borderline hangry {hungry+angry}, we decided to settle in across the way at Mani’s.

A creamy, milky chai tea latte.
^^my smirky date…and Chelsea hadn’t even lost yet!

Mani’s has the classic greasy spoon favorites–we recommend the steak wrap, it’s tender and full of flavor.

Hampstead Heath, or simply the Heath, is a 790 acre “park” in North London. Park is a loose term–there’s heathland, woods, and meadows that Londoners have enjoyed for the last century.

Wander through the paths, go for a four mile run around the perimeter, bird watch, picnic, whatever you like…but be sure to catch the view of London from Parliament Hill.

^^a little hazy for a clear view of London. For the best view from the Heath, Parliament Hill is a quick five minute walk from the Hampstead Heath overground station.

Do all roads lead to Camden? Because, of course, we ended up there.

Take yourself for a wander in North London! Xx
