I think I’ve mentioned before that we are obsessed with accruing Hilton Honors points….and with reason, we have stayed for free in some amazing hotels, including a week at an all-inclusive in Costa Rica! For our long weekend in Budapest, we looked around at different places and then realized there are actually 2 Hilton properties in the city. We stayed at the Hilton in the Castle District <for a mere 30,000 points per night!>.

And it was incredible! The perfect location…especially if you’re like me and every time you walk by the Fisherman’s Bastion, you must have a picture! ? The rooms were sizable, clean and elegantly decorated. The most impressive thing about this Hilton (with exception to the views!) was the service. Every person was exceptionally helpful and gain us excellent recommendations.

Plus, in the executive lounge, there is this amazing view of Parliament. Breakfast with this view–can’t beat it!

I will say if you’re wanting more of a nightlife scene, you should look to stay in Pest. But we grabbed a cab back over to Buda one night and it was very reasonable.
