London is full of festive and fun ways to celebrate the holidays! Every corner is decorated and screams Christmas…but not long after the new year begins, i.e now, much of the festive fun disappears and we all realize it’s just January. Buuuut many of the celebratory winter pop-ups stay around well into the new year so you can continue to celebrate the season and not just the holiday! One of my favorites this year was the Montague Hotel’s Ski Lodge. This Bloomsbury hotel is decorated to the nines and walking into the lobby is festive enough…fireplaces glowing and trees trimmed to the brim–the perfect place for afternoon tea! But wander a little deeper to the terrace that is transformed into another place entirely…a Ski Lodge, complete with the snow! You’ll feel transported from the cityscape of London to some far off snow-capped slopes! And the best part, none of that cold stuff….just a snuggly little cabin to sip warm drinks in! Our favorites of the day : the choctails (hot cocoa with baileys!) ; the apple schnapps ; and the spiced cider! The food was equally as tasty….the festive platter includes a bratwurst, turkey schnitzel and my favorite, deep fried camembert! With the Individual Ski Pass for £30, you get the festive platter and three drinks of your choice! We had the best time under the cabin heaters sipping tasty beverages and pretending to be in the Alps! The Ski Lodge is such a fun and festive way to celebrate the whole winter season and the best way to fight those tempting post-holiday blues!

Close enough! Although it is SO cold in London right now, it might as well be snowing!
