If you’re searching for the Greek Isle with gorgeous, charming city walks by day and a lively, exciting party scene by night….er,  well, it’s also a lively, exciting party scene by day, if you’re up for it…either way MYKONOS is the answer. STAY :

If it’s your first trip to Mykonos, stay in Choros or Old Town. It’s so easy to walk around everywhere and it’s truly the heart of the island. Also, you can very easily rent mopeds or quad bikes (which I HIGHLY recommend!) to explore the rest of the island.

If you want to splurge, just outside of town : Aegean Pearl Villa

MUST SEE :

Old Town : every corner is as picturesque as the next…with gorgeous whites and blues and of course, flowers everywhere! have your camera ready!

Little Venice : the staggered waterside buildings resemble the Italian island, a great place for evening cocktails!

Windmills : a symbol of the city, the windmills are a perfect spot to watch the sunset!

Paraportiani Church : there are 365 churches on the island of Mykonos, one for every day of the year!

EAT :

Well, you obviously have to have souvlaki! It’s quick, easy and the best lunch option around. Read my favorites here!

Best splurge lunch option : Nammos at Psarou Beach, the best sushi! Fresh and flavorful.

Best dinner option : REMEZZO. This stunning seaside restaurant is the perfect spot to take in the sunset and enjoy exquisite local dishes. Read on here.

PARTY :

I mentioned the mopeds and quad bikes, but seriously, don’t miss out on this! It’s the best way to scoot all over the island and visit the best of the best beach parties!

Paradise Beach with the VERY lively Tropicana Beach bar : this is the biggest party scene on the island and the party continues well after the sun sets and then becomes…

Paradise Club : the  biggest DJs and this is where the party will finish, like say, when the sun comes up.

Super Paradise : definitely super fun and the party kicks up in the late afternoon, with loud music and wild male table dancers! Mykonos is well known for their gay scene and Super Paradise & Jackie O Beach are where its’ at! We had a blast hopping between these two.

Jackie O Beach : I absolutely LOVE the chic design here! Also, drag shows by the pool.

Psarou Beach : super chic and luxurious but still has a bit of the party flare. Definitely plan a spot here for Nammos sushi and drinks!

Paraga Beach : again, a tamer beach party but still a party.

Skandinavian Bar : in old town Mykonos, this bar is usually overflowing with people and don’t be surprised if you can hear the music from corners away!
