Fashion in Florence is the real deal which is why I’ve partnered with Suite Hazen on this amazing edit of their their classic Italian-esque pieces…
The Alighieri Black Onyx Ring and Necklace are influenced by Dante Alighieri, who called Florence home. His famous poem The Divine Comedy was the inspiration behind these stunning pieces, including the darkness of the onyx and imperfections of the stone.
The Mr Boho Cat Eye sunglasses of course, because cat eye sunnies scream Italy to me! Must be all those old Hollywood classics set in Italy.
The Giant Cotton Scarf is the perfect day to night accessory–I love how a simple piece like this can carry you through museum wanderings by day and swanky dinners by night.
If you’re anything like me and you don’t even think of leaving home without your camera, lipstick, hairbrush, maybe a spare set of ballet flats..then you need this Pony Hair Tote and Clutch. It’s perfect for carrying all your necessities and then converting to a clutch for a night out!
These photos featuring my favorite Suite Hazen accessories are paired with classic Italian props…rosemary, lemons, espresso beans…hmm, wish we could smell these photos?!
I have a Florence city guide coming up! But for now, here’s some shopping tips…
SHOP:
Via de’ Tornabuoni : seriously, this is shopping heaven. call it Rodeo Drive of Florence.
San Lorenzo Market : the best bargain market, especially for leather.
Aquazzura : warning, you are going to want every. single. pair of shoes here!
Prada Outlet : yes, you read that right. About 20-30km south of Florence is the designer outlets where you can nab sample stock or end of season pieces at half the price (gasp!). The Mall is another strip mall of designer brands nearby.
